Lumley Engineering - Keeping the Wheels Turning
In times of uncertainty, supply chain worries are often at the forefront of business concern. With Brexit just around the corner now, you may be reassured to know what steps have been taken at Lumley Engineering to make sure that customers continue to enjoy timely deliveries and the highest standards of engineering, regardless of what the coming year brings.
The key factor in our preparation has been investment. New, more spacious premises have been taken on to ensure that any increase in capacity our customers require can be accommodated. At the same time investment in new CNC machinery will ensure that increased capacity can be met, while shortening lead times for new product prototyping and changes to existing products.
As for our own supply chain, relationships with local raw materials suppliers have been maintained and nurtured. This investment in the people we buy from will stand us in good stead going forward, giving confidence in the future stability of supply volumes and prices.
If you have a need for engineered components from prototype or short volume, to full production volume, and want to make sure you are going to be in a good position come January, give us a call or click in the header of any page to send an email.
